The School Council is the deliberative body of the School.
Composition:
- The Directors of the Departments belonging to the School as members by right; in the Council meetings, each Director may be replaced by the Deputy Vice-Director or the Vice-Director for Education.
- A representation of professors, established in the regulations of each School, not exceeding 10% of the total members of the Boards of the Departments belonging to the School, elected by the individual Boards of the Departments belonging to the School
- One representative of the students enrolled in the Study Courses assigned to the School, who remains in office for two academic years.
Tasks:
- Decides on matters within the School's sphere of competence set out in Article 2 of the School's Rules and Regulations
- Approves proposals and opinions within the School's sphere of competence
- Receives from the Study Courses and transmits to the adhering Departments, with its own observations, information on the needs of teaching and technical-administrative staff for the performance of teaching duties
- On the Director's proposal, it approves the School's technical-administrative staffing requirements plan in accordance with the deadlines set out in the University's organisational regulations
- Approves the School's project as per Art. 24 para. 2 of the Statutes
- Appoints the members of the Joint Teacher-Student Teaching Commission
- Decides on the establishment of other temporary and permanent Commissions
- Approves by an absolute majority of its members the School Rules and subsequent amendments pursuant to Article 12 of the School Rules
- Carries out any other tasks required by law, the Statute, the Regulations or other provisions in force
