Guidance, Tutoring and Placement Commission

The Guidance, Tutoring and Placement Commission is appointed by the School Council on the recommendation of the relevant departments, with the participation of student representatives.

Composition:

  • Two lecturers for each set defined in Art. 9(2) of the School Regulations
  • One lecturer for the degree/degree courses listed in Appendix 3 of the School Rules
  • Student representatives, amounting to 20% of the teaching staff, are appointed jointly by the student representatives in the School Council and in the various Department and Course Councils. If necessary, the student representatives may nominate candidates from among all the students enrolled in the various degree and specialisation/master's degree courses.

The Commission appoints a President from among its members who coordinates it.

Tasks:

  • Coordination of orientation activities and initiatives (incoming, in itinere and outgoing) of the courses of study pertaining to the School, according to the indications provided by the appropriate University Commission.
  • Coordination of orientation meetings (calendars, information material, courses, science dissemination) also in collaboration with local secondary schools
  • Organisation and rationalisation of tutoring for students on the School's study courses
  • Promotion and coordination of the School's placement
