International students can join one of the School’s Departments by enrolling to an Undergraduate, a Postgraduate or a Phd programme or by participating to a mobility experience as an exchange student.

Postgraduate degree programs in English

  • Master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence and High-Performance Computing Technologies
     is a two-year postgraduate program conducted entirely in English, offered by the Department of Computer Science. It provides advanced training in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and high-performance computing, combining strong theoretical foundations with practical skills. The program prepares graduates for careers in research, industry, and innovation, as well as for further doctoral studies.

  • Master’s Degree in Physics 
    is a two-year postgraduate program offered by the Department of Physics. It provides advanced training in theoretical, experimental, and computational physics, combining strong scientific foundations with research-oriented learning. Through specialised study paths and an independent thesis project, students develop the skills needed for careers in research, technology, and innovation, as well as for further doctoral studies.

  • Master's Degree in Materials Science 
    is a postgraduate programme of the Department of Chemistry delivered in English with a strong international student component through the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree network (Master in Materials Science for Energy Applications & Using Large Scale Facilities - MAMASELF).

  • Master’s Degree in Stochastics and Data Science 
    is a two-year postgraduate program conducted entirely in English, offered by the Department of Mathematics. It is designed to offer advanced training in probabilistic and statistical methods. This program provides students with a solid theoretical foundation and practical skills in data analysis, stochastic modelling, and modern statistical techniques. It prepares graduates for careers in research, industry, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Master’s Programme in Cellular and Molecular Biology 
    Since the academic year 2015/2016, the department of Department of Life Sciences and Systems Biology has offered a Master’s Degree entirely taught in English. The Master’s Programme in Cellular and Molecular Biology is a postgraduate course featuring several curricula, including Biomedical and Biomolecular, and Neurological and Biomolecular. The programme also provides students with valuable hands-on experience through laboratory training and internships.

Learning Italian

The University of Turin offers Italian language courses each semester to Erasmus+, global exchange, and double-degree students. Each student may enrol in only one Italian language course per academic year. These courses are divided into three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. They are free of charge and last for one semester. If a student passes the final exam, the course is worth 5 ECTS credits. Find out more information
